I was able to get away for a few days. I went about as far “down the shore” as you can in New Jersey.

Cape May is also known for its Victorian houses. They’re rather spectacular.

Mr. strivingcynic and I managed to head over to the boardwalk in Wildwood for some Kohr Bros. frozen custard (basically like soft serve ice cream..). I had the chocolate vanilla twist cone, he had the orange vanilla twist cup. The flavors of the Jersey shore!
